>From a colleague in Rhode Island:

My name is Alyssa Taft and I am a current student at University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. I am also an active member of School Librarians of Rhode Island (SLRI) and I am reaching out to let you know about an incredible project we are currently trying to fund through Kickstarter.

The goal of our project is to create a professional 8-10 minute documentary that highlights the role of the school librarian in their community and school. With echos of "what do librarians even do?" we want to show how crucial school librarians are to student success. The video could then be used as an advocacy tool for librarians across the country to help showcase the myriad of skills, talents, and responsibilities that modern school librarians have.

We are currently 41% funded with 17 days to go! No donation is too small!
