Hi all,
We use the purchased Schoolwide Curriculum here for LA. I am struggling
with a sub-genre they call Semi-Fiction.
Here is the teacher's description:
"It's defined as a text that implements a great deal of nonfiction, such as
a fictional depiction "based on a true story", or a reconstructed
biography. I don't really understand how this would be differentiated from
historical or realistic fiction."
I agree with her. Anyone know of any titles I could suggest to her that
would fit this term of Semi-Fiction? She thought Someone Named Eva, I
thought Countdown, by Deborah Wiles.
Any help is appreciated!
