[ISLMA-Share] End of the year tips

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

On a similar note, I was just notified TODAY that both the elementary and jr/sr high buildings in my district will need to be gutted in order to replace water damaged carpet.  From what I can gather from the head custodian, they want the libraries to be ready on the teachers' last day which is May 24.  I'm completely bamboozled right now.  Any advice as I plan to meet with the superintendent and building principals about the logistics of this?  We have roughly 25,000 books to shift.  You may email me off list if you'd like.
