[ISLMA-Share] End of the year tips

I agree.  Start cleaning out closet, cabinets, and drawers.  The less there is to pack and unpack the better.  Make sure you or one of your assistants are there when they start unpacking (and packing if you can).  I had car problems the day of the unpacking so they started without me.  It took two months for me to get the shelves back in order even when the boxes were marked.  Label, label, label everything.

On a similar note, I was just notified TODAY that both the elementary and jr/sr high buildings in my district will need to be gutted in order to replace water damaged carpet.  From what I can gather from the head custodian, they want the libraries to be ready on the teachers' last day which is May 24.  I'm completely bamboozled right now.
