I would say it depends on two things:

1.       What is the purpose of the video? Is it tied directly to curriculum in every classroom where it will be shown? If yes, you’re good on this factor. If no, do you have a movie license for your building that would cover this particular video? If yes, good here.

2.       Is it a closed-circuit broadcast system only accessible in your building? If yes, then I think you’re good on this factor.

Those would be the two main considerations I think would apply in this scenario, but I could be wrong or missing something.

Hi there,

If I legally purchase a copy of a dvd and show it my entire school, via a "broadcast" system that pushes it out to every classroom simultaneously am I breaking any copyright rules?
