On the moving furniture part of the conversation, maybe it works better where the kids want it. Why fight it? Move it to where they are using it. ;-)

I do like the stun gun idea... a librarian that had this library much before my time, threw tennis balls at the kids.  I have considered nerf.

I will have to look at setting something at the places they are moving the tables to. Great idea.

Does anyone else struggle with students moving library furniture?  I have two table the students keep sliding about 3 feet over so they are behind poles.  Any ideas?
