[ISLMA-Share] 2017 YA Day at Conference

​Get your teens registered for the ISLMA conference YA Day!



We will be hosting a YA Day for students in grades 6th through 12th.
Students will be registered in teams of six.  Teams will compete in a
Battle of the Books and work with an Illinois author during a Writer’s
Workshop.  There is a limit of 15 Middle School teams and 15 High School
teams.



We have two special guest authors helping out with this year’s Writer’s
Workshop.  Joelle Charbonneau will be working with middle school students
and Simone Elkeles will be working with high school students.  Both ladies
will also be joining the students during lunch to talk about their books
and to sign books.



Registration for the 2017 YA Day is now open! Forms are available at:
http://bit.ly/yaday2017 and need to be submitted by October 9. You can also
find the tournament rules, book list for the Battle of the Books, and a
tentative schedule at the link above.  Please send questions to
