[ISLMA-Share] Woman speaker for women's studies class?

Hi!

I am writing on behalf of a teacher in our high school. Here is her request:


"I am hoping to potentially bring in a speaker for my Women's Studies
course at the end of this block. I have been brainstorming who would be a
good speaker who lives locally, and thought it might be worth reaching out
to folks to see if you had any good ideas/connections that I could tap into
for our students.

I would love to have a woman who was actively trying to affect change for
women speak - someone working as an attorney, writer, in women's health or
education, working for women's rights in the workplace, in government, as
an activist through art, etc (I'm sure there are many ideas that I have not
thought of)."
