[ISLMA-Share] Chromebook cart management question

I have found that keeping a record of who uses a device does not work as
proof of who altered it. A student may pick up a device and ignore the
change that's been made. Sometimes the device will pass through several
hands until someone reports it. Changes our students have made are usually
trivial, changing the screensaver, moving apps out of or into folders,
setting alarms. Of course when the language of the device is changed that
would bring about immediate notification.

What I do find is that the students are less likely to make changes if they
know that their name is down on a sign out sheet for a specific device.
