Hi Jacob,

How about catapults out of tongue depressors or craft sticks and rubber
bands? ( we set up cups from the hundred cup challenge to see how many they
could knock down arcade style). Or marbling with nail polish and
water...although this is smelly (do it in the spring when you can open
windows if you have them) ? Paperclip chain...using one box of paperclips,
whose chain can hold the most weight? I think the ginormous SUDUKO Board
is fun for math maniacs too...to old for my kids but your kids will love
it. Last year we did straw geometric 3D shapes....cubes, spheres,
hexagons...very cheap if you go to a restaurant supply like GFS. (added
bonus, the kids loved ripping the end of the paper off and shooting them at
one another, so there is that) Stress balls during finals with cheap
playdough and balloons. This year, Joe built me a HUGE loom and we are
doing this month in makerspace. Hmmmmmm If I think of anymore I will let
you know.

Next year I am going to invest in a button maker. I think my middle school
kids will love it.

Here is a picture of the SUDUKO...I love this!
