Thank you so much for your responses! To answer/address the replies (now that I use my school's GroupWise email program, I never see who list-serv emails are coming from--unless you have a signature--so I can't address you individually. Hopefully this will change when my school switches over to gmail soon).

We don't allow cell phones either. We are 1:1 with Chromebooks. We downloaded a QR reader app so students can pull them up that way.

Screencastify--we are using the free version. Students created a Google Slide with a picture of the book cover and then recorded with that.

Sorry, but I can't share the projects outside the district yet because the students' Google Drives are locked down. We've only done two samples so far.

I would love to but cell phones usage is not allowed in my school. If it were different I would definitely post them in my LMC. Bookmarks are a good idea.

A teacher and I were discussing having students create book reviews using Screencastify, then posting a QR codes to the videos for others to see. We thought about posting the codes as a display in the library or about putting each one on a bookmark in the corresponding book, etc. Does anyone use QR codes on books? Any other ideas out there?

Thanks in advance!
