[ISLMA-Share] K-5 Fiction Organization

Our K-4 school is organized as follows:

Non-fiction - Dewey, all levels
Fiction - 3.1 AR level and above, FIC alphabetical by author. Some schools
separate the paperpacks out on spinners, but I don't.
Picture Books - E alphabetical by author. All have a color coding dot with
the first letter of the author's last name.
Spanish - ESP plus any 3 of the above classifications. The ESP is color
coded by genre.
Audio - CASS, CD, MP3 or PA plus the above classifications. As much as
possible, they are packaged with the book.
First chapter books - 3.0 AR level and below, organized into chapters. ER
plus first 3 letters of the author's last name.
All paperbacks have a PB suffix.

Hope this helps - I don't envy you the reorganization!!
