[ISLMA-Share] Organize library by Lexile

I had a principal ask me to do that once, and I told her that library is a
free choice zone for books. We have a book room full of teacher sets of
guided reading books that are all lexiled and leveled. They get enough of
that during guided reading, so I am a firm believer in reading whatever
they want to in the library. If we want to promote a love of reading, there
is a definite difference between what is actual reading vs reading-related
"stuff" and I think lexiling library books comes too close to the "stuff."
If your admin is hard pressed for lexiles, maybe you can compromise by
adding a lexile number somewhere on the inside back flap of the books (I
even think Follett has an option to print it on your bar code labels) and
then keeping the books arranged however you currently have them.

Good luck!
