I use Rich in Color <http://richincolor.com/> A LOT for collection
development. It's mostly YA and MG book reviews, author interviews, and
just general highlights on books and authors that are ethnically diverse.
They also include occasional themed lists: Black Girl Magic, LGBTQ
characters, books with Muslim characters, Asian heroes, etc.
I also regularly check Debbie Reese at American Indians in Children's
Literature <https://americanindiansinchildrensliterature.blogspot.com/>
and Reading
While White <http://readingwhilewhite.blogspot.com/> which offer book
reviews and lists for all grade levels. And (though I wish she posted more,
but she is an author and has other important things to write) I just adore
reading Justina Ireland's blog.
<http://justinaireland.com/dammit-this-is-a-blog/> It's an amazing
intersection of race & diversity, the publishing/writing world, and
literature for young adults, all intended to school the ignorant white book
reader in the experiences and worldview of POC. Not many book reviews, but
has definitely shaped the way I develop my library collection and book talk
to my students of color.
