[ISLMA-Share] $5,000 award for K-8 school libraries

I'm writing from the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office in regards to ALA's Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award. This award recognizes K-8 school libraries that hold outstanding humanities programming in subjects such as social studies, poetry, drama, art, music and culture.

The winning library will receive a $5,000 cash award and a plaque.

ALA is currently accepting applications for this award; the deadline is May 5. You can learn more about the award and apply online at http://ala.org/jaffarian.
