I would check with your district’s legal department or have your administration department do so, especially if the phots ae going to be posted publically on the internet.  The last thing you would want is a lawsuit.

Dear collective brain,

The Art Club is painting a mural in one of our hallways. They have included many, many copyrighted characters (a small sampling attached, and this continues down the hall for a good 30 feet or more).  I’ve been sent a number of photos and asked to post them on our website.  My question is, does posting this violate copyright in some way? Does it fall under fair use?
