[ISLMA-Share] Yet another copyright question, but a bit different

But you can always ask for permission.  It would be a great learning
opportunity for a class to write to a copyright holder and ask for
permission, and it can certainly be done by email.  An authentic purpose
for writing and a very authentic application of ethical use of other
people's work.  Great inquiry-- who is the copyright holder and how to
reach them. Include a sketch of the planned project.  Explain the details.
You never know!  Encouraging reading = book sales!!! Go for it! (just be
aware if they do give permission, a term might be to not publish it on a
site that is not password protected, or at all).
