[ISLMA-Share] primary community read

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I have been asked for a title or two for consideration for a "Read Across _______" book that we could encourage all in our community to read.  Our building serves 1st and 2nd graders.   Rather than reinvent the wheel, if you have done a similar program in your district, could you share the title you used and whether it was well-received?  Feel free to respond to my email below.  If there is interest, I will compile a list.  Thank you for your help!
