At the middle school, during the first semester I take yearbook orders,
help sign up parents for AR e-mail, and sign them up for our Google group,
which is how we send out the daily bulletin. The ELA teachers send them my
way for the AR e-mail, and the office advertises what else I can do for
them while they are waiting for their next conference. I also have the
social studies teachers sending me parents because they offer extra credit
for reading books connected to history. They mention that I am a
specialist at helping students find books on these topics.
