Hello!

I have been working with a SPED teacher in my school to find books about famous people with disabilities. She is having her students choose and read a book and write a paper on the person, the disability, and how it affected that person's life.

I have found her a number of titles in our library but we are apparently a little short in this area, especially when it comes to more contemporary titles. I am also ordering a couple of books. I was looking to see if anyone has insight on some titles that are middle school to early high school reading level and are specifically about sports, music, or TV celebrities with disabilties. The whole book doesn't have to be about their disability, but it should talk about how it has affected the person's life/career to some extent.

Thank you!
