Whenever I question a book the first place I go is the Common Sense website
<https://www.commonsensemedia.org/>. It really lays out what's in the book
and why the person reviewing gave it the age category. Unfortunately not
all books are in here. Here's the review for Peregine's Children
<https://www.commonsensemedia.org/book-reviews/miss-peregrines-home-for-peculiar-children>.
Be sure to point at the green words under "What Parents Need to Know" and
you'll see pop-ups with more information.
