Hi all,

SHARE libraries in IHLS that use the Cloud Library portion of eRead Illinois can visit yourcloudlibrary.com to download the Chromebook App. (Thanks for the shout out Valerie!)

Or email me any questions you have about scoping and/or browser-based reading for the Cloud Library I’ll be happy to answer them!

Thanks,

We also have awesome training and resources to help scope and use the collection along the way! let us know if you have any questions about the new browser based reader or scoping!
Here is our eRead Illinois youtube channel to start:

There is a feature called "scoping" that allows you to get rid of any categories you don't want. I removed all adult and teen literature from my elementary site. :)

I am considering subscribing to this, now that the program is Chromebook compatible (https://ereadillinois.com/about/faq). Are any of your elementary/middle schools using it? One concern I have is that the students will have access to its entire library, including adult materials. If you use eRead, have you addressed this?

Thanks!
