[ISLMA-Share] Legislative Meet-and-greets

Ddespite what you hear or read, most legislators are pretty decent folks.
They want to do what they think is right for their district. However, most
are not aware of the needs of libraries--especiall school libraries. They
need to be educated about our issues.

Please consider attending one of the ILA Legislative Meet-ups. Meet with
your legislator and discuss library funding with them. There are seven
regional events with the first one scheduled for Monday, February 6 and
ending Monday, March 3. Talking points will be developed before this so you
will know the message. You can add a lot to the conversation by telling
your library's story. Legislators love stories and they hear a lot of them.
But who can tell your library's story better than YOU?!
