Have you tried www.bookdepot.com<http://www.bookdepot.com>?  You could check their blowouts and see if they have anything you could use.  You can search their other books by dollar amount for kids.  You could also check the Scholastic Reading Club, whenever they open. In the past several years they have had $1 books for every grade level every month. Scholastic has no shipping. There is a shipping charge for bookdepot, but many times it comes out to about $.25 or $.35 per book - depending on how many you buy.  Hope these ideas help!

Hi, all!

I am looking for a site or store from which to purchase either:
•550 copies of a great picture book for kindergarten through 2nd graders
or
•185 copies each of 3 seperate great picture books for k, 1st, and 2nd graders

The biggest catch is that the budget is between $1-$2 per student ($1100 absolute maximum, but hopefully less). I've been looking for weeks and have found nothing. Hopefully, this is doable. Thank you, in advance, for your help!
