[ISLMA-Share] Librarian Vacancy

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

All,

East St. Louis School District #189 currently seeking to fill librarian
vacancies throughout the district.  In an effort to stafff these positions
with credentialed librarians, (Illinois Media Certificate) a job fair is
being held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the East St Louis Senior High
School.

Elementary (2), Middle (2) and High School (1) positions are vacant.
Please see the pictures below of some of the libraries.   Since 2015 the
following as been acquired to support the library programming:

- Alexandria Circulation System for each school
- All libraries recently received district financial support to improve the
existing collections.
- Gale, TeachingBooks.net and JSTOR research databases.
- Professional Development sessions for district librarians each month.
