[ISLMA-Share] ISO Creative Ideas for Encouraging Payment for Lost/Damaged Items

Good afternoon!


As budgets continue to tighten, we are having issues with replacing lost and damaged books, circulating calculators, and other important equipment. Although charges for these items go into the student management system for parents to see, collecting the money is, well, a slow process. The fact that the curricular materials and equipment are unavailable then affects the class curriculum.


I'm looking for any creative ideas that you may employ to encourage students, or parents, to pay for lost and damaged items. I know of programs such as Read Off Your Debt, which I love; however, we still need the funds to replace the items.
