In Kane County, we have a law library. The head is awesome and she does talks.
There is also CASA that advocates for abused and neglected kids.
Maybe you have something like these you can reach out to.

Good afternoon, everyone!

I had a request from a teacher who is looking for someone to come in and talk with her class. They are starting a research project about juvenile justice and would love to have someone come and talk on this subject. She's not really looking for the perspective of the police, as they normally get that perspective a lot. Many of the resources she is leading her students towards give personal stories relating to juvenile justice (the good and the bad). Anyone have any good connections or people this teacher could reach out to?

Thanks so much!
