Yes, we have a copy, and yes, it gets checked out. I believe that my job is provide students access to information and resources with the least amount of barriers as possible. I do not believe that information and ideas are dangerous. Restricting access gives that information and those ideas more value than typically deserved and in my experience. makes them even more attractive to teens. Having controversial material in the collection allows me to include all kinds of materials that may offend one group or another including a Koran and a King James Bible.

This question is mostly for high school or public librarians. Do you have a copy of Mein Kampf in your library? I have one and rarely think of it until someone checks it out. I feel like they check it out to get historic insight but it still makes me nervous. Thoughts?
