Hello all,

Administrators in our school district are seeking help in promoting an upcoming conference hosted by West Aurora School District 129...

"Like so many districts in the Chicago suburban area, and our entire country, West Aurora District 129 is continually working to identify and implement more effective grading and assessment practices.

To further engage in this conversation, we are hosting a national conference on grading and assessment practices put on by FIRST Educational Resources.  Please join us on June 14th, 15th, & 16th to hear from prominent experts including Tom Guskey, Lee Ann Jung, Jay McTighe, Ken O'Connor and many others.  We are hoping this conference will be the start of a crucial conversation in our district around best practices in an area in which we know we must improve.

West Aurora District 129 will also be hosting a lunch on June 16th for district and building leaders interested in engaging in conversation regarding the current work being done around standards and assessment.
