We switched from World Book to Britannica this year, and I am very pleased
with the results. In addition to the flexible reading level embedded in
every article, their web links (for certain topics) are outstanding.

I also recommend FactCite from Lincoln Library. Our students love the
accessible reading level and general layout of their articles. Though the
breadth of coverage is not what you get in the Gale suite, the depth of the
articles is strong.
