[ISLMA-Share] ESSA Update

Having been a member of this organization since its inception, I have to
say that this is the first time that I have seen so many of our members
actively involved in advocacy for school libraries and school librarians.
I am proud of  the stance we took.   We were noticed. Maybe we didn't get
everything we wanted but we spoke up and we will continue to speak up
whenever possible.   Thank you to our leadership for all of your hard work
and many hours that you pour into this.  We are not done!   We will
continue to speak up for the value of libraries and librarians whenever and
wherever there is a need
