We have 2 types of "book room" Guided Reading Collections. One is K-6 and
we use Fountas and Pinnell leveled reading. We have books sets of 6 of each
and total about 10-30 book sets in each lettered level. At our 7-12
building I have changed from bagging our book sets to shelving them
alphabetically. They are staff check out only and are not allowed to
circulate out of the buildings. I did not set up our collection, I
inherited it, and it runs very smoothly. I also add books based on student
needs and staff requests. If you want pictures or to set up a visit, feel
free!
