I had my first Incredible Edible Book Festival this year. I had so many
entries that I needed more space that I could ever imagine. As students
walked in with their presentations, I handed them entry blanks that asked
for which class they were in for ELA (they got extra credit for
participating), name, and book title.

Here were the rules:
•Work by yourself or with friend(s)
•Choose a book to represent in food
•Could be a play on words
•Could be the cover
•Could be your own take
•Could be a food featured in the book
Bring it to school on Thursday, November 17 at 6:00 along with a copy of
the book or print out the front cover

What I will change next year is we will have categories: Best Cover, Best
Pun, Best Scene from a book, and maybe Best Food--butterbeer fudge was
delicioius.

It was so much fun!
