[ISLMA-Share] Suggestions for Headphones?

I think the Califone ones are the most durable, but they all break
sometime! Kids with nervous hands pick at the ear protectors, and the
replacement ones are pricey. But together they are still the best bang for
the buck.

I know some schools add headphones to the student supply list, so parents
can get the ones that work best for their child. The kids keep them in a
zip-lock in their locker, and bring them when they're coming to the
computer lab.

Do you do testing online? PARCC has specific requirements for the ones used
then - we use them for the test period then put them away until the next
test, and use our others for the rest of the time. (Our District buys the
PARCC compliant ones, we buy the others)

Also, we have a program - Read Naturally - that uses headphones with
microphones so the kids can repeat what they hear and hear themselves.

Just make sure you get what meets your overall needs. You're not really
saving money if they don't work for your curricular needs...

Good luck!
