Our high reading elementary students like the Ric Riordan series, The
Sisters Grimm, by Michael Buckley, and Harry Potter. Some single titles
that are popular with them are *The Phantom Tollbooth * and various titles
in Greek mythology.

For younger grades, I would suggest some of the STEM series - ABDO and
Capstone have series on animals at various reading levels, dinosaurs are
always popular, and some robotics and art/craft titles are popular. The *I
Spy* books are good too. In picture books, don't forget Mo Willems, Kevin
Henkes and David Shannon. Also look at diversity titles.

Good places to look are the award winners and honors - of course Newberry
and Caldicott, but also duPre, Coretta Scott King and other awards lists.
