Need new ideas to advocate and communicate the importance of your school library?  Consider attending Summer Getaway 2017: PD for School Librarians on Monday, June 12th!
Join us on Monday, June 12th from 9:00 - 4:00 PM as Allan Davenport, Laura Nylen, Kristen Mattson, & Dawn Vieira from Indian Prairie School District 204 share creative and successful strategies for library advocacy. Learn how to share the relevance of  school libraries in a Future Ready environment and explore how the Future Ready Schools, Follett and Future Ready Librarians Frameworks can be useful advocacy tools. This interactive session will feature practical strategies you can use to help build instructional partnerships with stakeholders while learning effective storytelling techniques to communicate the ways you positively impact student learning.
