[ISLMA-Share] makerspaces

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I know this has probably been talked about before, but I can't find the
emails.

Has anyone implemented makerspaces with 4-5 grades?  If so, I have some
questions:

What is your time frame?  I see classes once a week for 30 minutes, fixed
scheduling.

How did you go about starting it?  Did you start out small with a
challenge, or did you just let the students "tinker"?

Do you have aides/assistants that help you?  It is just me.

Do you have a set off rules you would be willing to share with me?
