I am hoping one of you fabulous librarians can help me. I have some young
students (K-2) who are struggling with taking medications regularly. Our
social worker would like a book about the importance of taking medications
as prescribed. The only book I've found searching so far is: "Otto learns
about his medicine : a story about medication for children with ADHD" by
Galvin, Matthew from 2001. I haven't actually seen the book so I'm wondering
if anyone can tell me if they'd recommend this book or if they have
something in their collection they like. The book doesn't need to focus on
ADHD, just about the importance of taking prescribed medications (perhaps to
destigmatize medication use).
Thanks so much!
