[ISLMA-Share] Book Scavenger activity?

I recently did two, with materials from Teachers Pay Teachers. This was at
the end of the second 'Boot Camp' session on finding things in the library.

For my K-2 graders, I used *Library Scavenger Hunt Task Cards*. These cards
have instructions like "Find a book with a yellow cover" or "Find a book
about cooking or food" or "find a book that takes place at the beach". I
gave a card to each student (or pair of students for larger classes) and
the kids had fun looking for things.

For my 3-4 graders, I used *The Great Library Scavenger Hunt* which was a
free TPT download. It came in Word format, so I was able to adjust it for
my library. I had students work in pairs, and we were amazed at how well
the kids worked together, and how intent they were on completing the task.
I had the students start on different questions to avoid bottlenecks.

Have fun!
