[ISLMA-Share] Author Visit Advice

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Tom came to our school last year. He is very easy going and will give a
great presentation! Be sure to ask and provide the items he needs for the
presentation. He has all the kids drawing, so they'll need paper, pencils,
and clipboards. At my school, he collected ONE sheet from each child and
autographed it for them.

Read the beginning of his books to all your classes. They LOVE stick dog!
