[ISLMA-Share] Privacy of Records in the School Library

I had a similar situation when the registrar informed me that a student was
leaving our school. I told her that the student had a book checked out and
she asked the name of it. I told her that I couldn't tell her that and she
reacted much like the teacher in your situation.
