[ISLMA-Share] Question about alarm system

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

How many libraries out there have alarm systems for their books? We have
one, and it work well. However, it is old, and expensive to buy the
detuning cards, the pockets, and the alarm stickers for the books. How many
of you have a different kind of system, how effective is it, and how many
of you simply have no alarm system for theft? We are weighing our options.
