[ISLMA-Share] Book intros for 5th/6th grade

Hi!
I would like to start my 5th and 6th grade library visits with a book intro. I am going to start going through books, but thought I would start here first. 

Does anyone have any books that you would recommend reading the first few pages to really get the reader hooked? (And hopefully stay hooked). Any suggestions you could give would be great!
