[ISLMA-Share] Books for 9th Graders

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Our English teachers are considering alternatives to teaching *The
Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian*. They currently like its
length, engaging humor, and protagonist experiencing a transition to high
school.

I'm putting together a list of possible options and would love to hear of
other YA novels 9th graders are reading at your schools.
