[ISLMA-Share] Author Visit by Gene Luen Yang

Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association islma at list.railslibraries.info
Wed Apr 4 18:41:03 CDT 2018

Here is the reply I received today...

*He will be at the Illinois Reading Council conference and the Illinois
Library Association conference -- both in October. I'm not sure how close
those are to Chicago.*

*An additional event at your school costs $10,000 for up to three
presentations, plus travel expenses that we would split with any other
venues.*

*If you're interested in moving forward for an adjoining October date, I'd
love to jump on the phone. Otherwise, you can fill out our attached firm
offer form for a separate event booking.*

*Warmly,*
*Julianne*

I'm not sure this means he would split the 3 presentations between
districts or not, but I would be interested if so...:)
