We ask teachers to put a repair sticker on each chromebook that might need
repair with what needs to be repaired. Then we ask the teacher to have the
kids turn over their chromebooks on their desks so the barcode is showing
on a specific day and time at the end of the year. We then walk to the
classroom and quickly scan in all chromebooks. We run a report to see
whose chromebook we may have missed and followup with them. After scanning
them in, the teacher has the students put the chromebooks into the cart in
their room and lock it. It stays there over the summer. We do have a
small school, however.
