Hi everyone,

I organized a Caudill reading challenge at my school this past year, and it was so popular that I am doing it again for next year (at my students' request, which made me very happy!)

In order for students to "prove" that they read each book from the list, I created a very simple five question quiz. Questions are all objective and are intended to be obvious if students read the book. I have now finished making quizzes for all of the 2019 nominees, and figured I would share the questions I created with this group in case anyone else can use them. I highlighted correct answers, but you will see that most are "A" since I created the quizzes on Schoology and told it to randomize choices. (If anyone is wondering, I do have an alternate book report assignment on Google Forms that students can complete if they do poorly on the quiz and still want to receive credit for the challenge.)

The questions are attached to this email, as well as some other Caudill resources I created for my school. Feel free to use however you see fit for your needs, and please reach out with any questions!

Just thought I would also mention that Kwame Alexander will be at Anderson's Bookshop in Downers Grove tonight, and Jason Reynolds will be there tomorrow night -- both with books nominated on the 2019 Caudill list!
