[ISLMA-Share] Destiny Help

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Do you just want students to know where each of the books are in the library? I use the Sublocation field in the copy information. That way the copies show where the book should be in the location field when students look at the copy information. I think you can save a title record more than once in the catalog, but I think you are going to lose all the checkout history and other data for anything you change now.

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to break out records in Destiny without deleting them and losing all the data? For example, if I have a title that has 3 different call #’s with 3 different circulation types – one on the library shelf, one for a Battle of the Books book, one as a guided reading book as an example - how do I move those books into its own entry? So in the end I would have 3 different entries for the same title.
