[AISLE-Share] AISLE Conference

[Email list for the Association of Illinois School Library Educators]

Good morning.
I am crafting my initial invite email to my admins about all this and I know they will be at the Thursday night event. I have just a few questions before I can send out my email:
What is the cost for the teachers to come to the breakfast and will there be workshops after for them as well? Oh, and will they also get PDUs like us librarians for attending that day?

Good afternoon!

Our AISLE Conference Planning Committee has been working diligently for months to create a phenomenal conference this year in Tinley Park on November 1-3, 2018!  We can't wait to celebrate our new name and new image at this incredible conference with you!

This year's conference is more than just a librarians' conference.  We want to get others in on the action since we all know that collaboration is key for best serving our students and communities. Therefore, we're encouraging librarians to invite administrators to our Future Ready event on Thursday evening, November 1, which will include food and drinks.  And we hope you'll spread the word to classroom teachers, reading specialists, and other fellow bibliophiles that we'll have Breakfast with Mr. Schu on Saturday morning!  There truly will be something for everyone--workshops, panel discussions, live entertainment with Louder Than a Bomb, an exhibit hall, a "shelfie" station, and so much more.
