I totally agree with staying with the name "library"!

There is so much change in technology, in standards and best practices, in what we do every day in schools--the library has ALWAYS been in the middle of it all and many times leading the way. The school library has always been about introducing new ideas, trying new things, helping students make good choices and learning how to THINK for themselves.

The library is a collection of items, books, resources and people (us!) that enables our students to do all those things and assists our teachers and admins to help our students in the process of learning. The definition of library may seem to be suddenly changing to those on the outside, but what we do has been adapting to the culture and the technology all along.

My two cents!!
